MacKenzie XC Ski Trail

UPDATED 1/11/26:

We did a midnight ride to get the new snow compacted before the warm up. Enjoy some midweek action this week and we hope to jump on the groomer again before the weekend if we get another dump of snow.  You may also see some two-way tracks where space allows to accommodate higher usage patterns. As we prioritize widening trails (slowly) it would be great to get feedback on spots where two-way tracks would increase safety and the user experience. It will inform trail clearing efforts and future grooming routes.  Ski to the right when the option presents itself!

The rain has burned off almost all of the snow. Some places will have some shoreline erosion but nothing a big step can't overcome. It will probably be slushy tomorrow with the fresh snow. Learn more at Pilgrim Village Fishing Shop.

CONDITIONS:   Fair-Good

We’re expecting a lot of traffic this wknd with Martin Luther King Day on Monday. Groomed a little today to check out conditions and things were quite good around the Caberfae, Coyote, LPL, and Boon areas! Icy trails to be expected in high traffic zones, such as near staging areas, near businesses and in corners. Snow is forecasted over the next 3 days. I don’t expect regular grooming shifts until we get a little more snow. Do your snow dances!

XC Ski Trail
WST and the XC trail are groomed and are reported to be in excellent condition!
The walking trail was also groomed and is reported to be a little soft.
