Saturday - May 25

Downtown Cadillac Celebrates Freedom of Speech with 'ArtWalk - Meet the Artist' from 10-4pm.  Ten local artists represented throughout the downtown stores.   Listed in Travel Michigans 'Travel Ideas' in the Top 10 Artsy Spots.   More information go to www.downtowncadillac.com

Monday - May 27- MEMORIAL DAY - Cadillac

8:30am - Rotary Stride for Strive 5k race starts and ends at the Veterans Memorial Stadium this year.  Registration opens at 7am.   This event support Rotary's High School 'Strive' mentoring program.   Local youth mentoring programs such as Girls on the Run, Kids on the Go and others join in this 5k race at no charge.
8:45 am – Parade line-up begins in the City Parking Lot
9:30 am – Honor Guard Special Ceremony at the City Docks for the US Navy, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine men and women.
10:00 am – Memorial Day Parade starts at City Park, up Harris, along Mitchell Street North, to Chestnut, ending at the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium. After 11:00 am – Veteran’s Memorial Service held at the Veteran’s Memorial Stadium (at CHS)

7:00pm - Boy Scout Flag Retirement Ceremony, United Methodist Church on M-55 East, following ceremony will be an ice cream social

NEW 2013 - It is with Honor that we salute our veterans and this year, ALL veterans are encouraged to come to the City Park and walk in the parade to be recognized for their patronage.

To All Veteran’s, Thank you for your service to this Great Country - The United States of America!
