This October, experience the autumn foliage of Northern Michigan in style with two upcoming excursions as part of the Steam Railroading Institute’s Fall Color Tours. Take in the color drenched beauty aboard our vintage passenger coaches or historic cabooses pulled by a Great Lakes Central DIESEL Locomotive. Enjoy a relaxing ride while visiting with friends, playing cards, snapping some pictures, or just settling in with a refreshing beverage and snack from our concession car.

On October 14th, board the Cadillac Limited at the Mountain Town Brewing Station in Mt. Pleasant for a 10:00 am departure and arrive in beautiful downtown Cadillac with an approximate three-and-a-half-hour layover for activities. Once arriving in Cadillac, take a short walk and you can visit local businesses, grab a bite to eat and take advantage of what this beautiful town has to offer! Itinerary information will be emailed in advance of the trip and also on board the train en route to Cadillac. Return arrival at Mount Pleasant will be at approximately 7:00 pm.

Tickets for the Cadillac Limited are $79 for coach class and $109 for caboose class. All tickets can be purchased at michigansteamtrain.com or by calling (989) 399-7589.

All Sales are final no refunds, unless Refund Protection Insurance is purchased before sale is completed (Refund Protection Insurance will allow for a full refund up to 72 hours before event). Steam Railroading Institute reserves the right to change out motive power or rolling stock at any time.

If you are interested in volunteering your time to Greet People off the Train and are knowledgeable about the downtown stores, restaurants and bathroom locations, please Volunteer here.
