Manton Veterans Memorial Museum
Tucked away in a Manton Park is a museum that honors Manton-area veterans. The museum is wall-to-wall military gear and photographs such as uniforms, weapons, ships lantern, a wheelchair and even a World War II-era Jeep.
In addition, the walls are filled with more than 300 framed photos of selfless Manton-area servicemen and servicewomen. The museum was built and opened in 2002 thanks to donations of material and labor. It’s owned by the City of Manton and the city’s Museum Board and is staffed by volunteers.
Thursday-Friday-Saturday: 12:00pm-4:00pm (Open during the Spring and Summer months)
